The Church of Jesus Christ of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints organizes congregations (we call them wards) as groups of Church members who live within a specific geographic area. The Corvallis Oregon Stake provides leadership and organizational structure for 8 such congregations highlighted below. In a congregation, you can make friends, feel a sense of belonging, and build a support network with others in your community. Church service times and schedules vary from congregation to congregation. All church meetings follow the same 2-hour format: one main sacrament meeting for everyone and one other class separated by age groups or general interests.

Visitors are welcome to participate in the sacrament service (or Communion), but they are not required to. When the bread and water of the sacrament are distributed to the congregation, if you don’t feel comfortable participating, simply pass the tray to the next person. Other than that, feel free to sit back and just enjoy the service. All are invited to join us for weekly activities, social outings, service projects, and Church services. We’d love to get to know you and will appreciate your involvement in the community.
